Pine-Richland Baseball Celebration photo

The Pine-Richland school baseball program has enjoyed a rich history of tradition and success. The varsity team won three consecutive WPIAL Championships from 2004 -2006 and were PIAA State Champions in 2006. The future of our program is bright, with our junior varsity, junior high, and middle school teams showing much promise for continued success in the future.

A number of our athletes have gone on to play collegiate and minor league professional baseball, and are having success in their baseball careers. Neil Walker, a first round selection of the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2004, was a graduate of the Pine-Richland school district.

Approximately 4,500 students attend the Pine-Richland school district which is located approximately 20 miles north of downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
